Your music collection might fit in your back pocket and you might have every song under the sun but nothing beats picking out an actual record and ACTUALLY LISTENING TO IT. You kids only want fast beats and catchy choruses always flicking through your playlists but you can’t expect anyone to take you seriously when you say “LIL WAYNE IS BANGIN!” and you’ve never heard Public Enemy’s It Takes a Nation of Millions, Fear of a Black Planet or their less appreciated debut. You never give any money to the artists (all your music belongs to Apple). You passed up the old Punk 7”s and said you would only listen to Reggae if you were drunk or getting high. How fucking ignorant when your dream is to be a judge on X Factor and that modern day dance remix straight-up shits on the original. You can’t expect me to forgive you for all the times you’ve flaunted your iPod on a bus claiming “THIS SHIT IS SICK BRO!” when I can’t help but hear all the shit you play and - believe me - none of it sounds any good to me.
